Anyone using 1.2 vti or 1.2 puretech and having trouble with the timing belt? My vehicle is 2012 model 1.2 vti. It is said that I need to change the mileage at 90,000, and I just wanted to ask you friends. In the service manual it says 180,000 km or 10 years. But the wrong referenced timing belt is used. I would be very grateful if anyone could get back to me with this issue. Thanks.

Hello sir, it's been 10 years already, don't risk the benefit if you change my teacher. You didn't fully understand the other issue, when you say the wrong timing belt, if something like that happens, the engine will jump to cents and the valves will bend.

I mean wrong timing. An incorrectly referenced timing belt was used in the 208s before 2016. In other words, it was used incorrectly as material content. There is no problem with the number of timing teeth. But as you say, it's best not to change and take risks. But parts prices have skyrocketed. I asked in a few places, only the timing set (circuit not included) is around 1000 try

Got it, thanks for the information. But do not neglect the timing belt, unfortunately, due to the dollar rate, there is a price increase in vehicle parts every day. When changing the timing belt, do not forget to have the circulation pump and v-belt replaced.

There is a Paris Auto in Maslak. I called on my brother's recommendation. He said that the circulation does not change in 1.2 vti, there is no need for change. I was astonished. Meanwhile, orig. My circulation is 945 lira

Hello, the timing belt of your vehicle works with engine oil. It's very risky, it happened to one of our customers before, because that trgier apricot was working in engine oil, the belt had sunk itself into the oil sump over time, and the bed was wrapped because it took the belt particles that were poured into the engine oil pump, the cost of which was previously 1500 TL. A thousand TL was spent on the vehicle, the complete engine was built, be careful, it's like a hand grenade with the pin pulled out those enginesCry
