peugeot 106 xs wheel tire problem

Friends hello everyone 2 months ago I bought zero 4x108 et15 14 inch rims for my 1997 peugeot 106 1.6 xs automatic car. I will buy tires on these rims I think 185 55 r14. When I look at the forums, some say that 185 55 R14 will not rub, some say that the rear fenders rub when someone sits back and that there is a protrusion in the rear fender that the protrusion should be sheared with a hammer.
