Peugeot 106 & Citroen Saxo Filter Care First of all, we prepare our oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plug and tool bag. We pull our vehicle to the appropriate working environment and remove the oil filler cap and dipstick. Then 10 to 15 minutes. We expect the vehicle to cool down and the old oil to be collected in the crankcase. We can go under the vehicle with our tray container to drain the ratchet, proper wrench and our old oil. After loosening the plug sufficiently to be removed by hand, we carefully remove the plug and let the old oil drain. At this point, we have to be very careful with the flow of old oil because a warmer fluid will be waiting for you than you might expect. We remove the oil filter with a filter wrench. Before we install the new filter, we pour a small amount of oil into it so that the filter is not soft inside. When installing the new filter, we never use a filter wrench and do not crush the filter. A sanding sheet is enough to hold bare hands and hold on well. We replace the seal of the plug and replace it. We check the level by completing the oil filling. We take out the coil package by removing the top cover and the fastening screws, the electrical connector. Our old spark plugs are 16 mm. we remove it with a spark plug wrench and replace it with new ones. If we have a torque wrench, 25nm. Let's tighten according to torque. Otherwise, let's squeeze it without overdoing it. We can now switch to an air filter replacement. Let's loosen the clamp on the butterfly side. Let's remove the old filter by unscrewing the cap screws. Then, wipe the cabinet and install the new filter. It is the last stage; Gasoline filter. After lifting our vehicle with a jack we take the necessary safety measures, we remove our filter near the left rear tire. We remove the hoses by pressing the white button on the hose connections. We attach the new filter with its clamp and place the hoses. After the tightness check, our vehicle is ready to start and test.
