PEUGEOET 307 1.6 XR headlights and display extinguished

Good day, friends. I just joined you yesterday, bought a 2002 model 307 1.6 XR vehicle 2.el. At night, while driving, I made a selector to the vehicle in front. After 3-5 seconds, the headlights and front dashboard went out, I played the selector arm again and it burned. this was about 3-4 times. Later on, while driving, both headlights and instrument panel lights were turned off without touching them. what is this caused? thank you for your help.

we had this problem in our old berlingo vehicle, but only during the daytime the headlights were flashing at once
