the service history is obvious or needs to be dismantled and the room is hard work. normally 1.6 hdi varies in 120 thousand. I'm waiting for 240 thousand right now for the second. If you cannot find it in the service record and the previous owner does not know exactly, replace it. Your job will be solid. |

thank you faruk brother, when i got my car it was at 167.500 km, now it is 168.000, probably it has changed by this time, because if it should change at 120.000 km it is impossible to arrive unchanged by this time, but what if the timing set and labor cost on average wonder how much it costs?

If the vehicle changed hands until it came to you in the meantime, it may have not changed. As I said, it must be removed from the service record. I looked from the net now the timing set 170 is original. It should be done around 250-300 with workmanship. I have changed a lot. new friends or master friends will tell you the net price. If I could not find a service record, I would change it, I would give it 250-300 and I wouldn't leave it to chance.
Good luck with. |

The km change period for your diesel vehicle is 10 years or 180.000 km for heavy conditions. Services say 120.000 km for 5 years. One of my friends had 407 untouched trig at 150,000 km and it had just changed. If I was you, I would change it if I don't know its past. Since I made my own 308 hdi vehicle, I just changed at 90,000 km and gave 35 lira for the cost. Peace of mind .. |

The service knows how many thousandths it will change according to your engine or you know your experienced friends. |
When the timing belt is worn and it is time to change, it makes a sound, it shows itself. My 307 vehicle broke the trigger when it was 165000 km. While this damned belt is normally installed around 250-300, including workmanship. It can damage valves due to the eccentric shaft, tensioner bearing, crankshaft and pistons that it is attached to. Don't make the mistake of me. Change it now. |

No sound, no timing belts on the timing belt, no wonder, look at 3-5, if possible it changes to the service, it is not like other parts, if it breaks, it will cost at least 3-4 thousand liras, |
friends, there are those who say that this timing belt makes a sound when it is time to change or when it loses its old feature, there are those who say it does not make a sound, suddenly, a friend who will definitely inform me about it or have a similar experience. Is there any? [/ QUOTE] Recently a friend's car had broken off the timing belt on the forum, the vehicle stopped on the way, they only understood what was in the repair shop. so don't wait for the triger to sound like this .. if you don't know the situation, change it. If you change around 500-600 pounds in service, they will replace all the parts that need to be replaced. |

In my 90 model golf, when the car was at 92000, the timing was broken, the mechanic made a sound, the fuel increased. However, these symptoms had none. In my Clio 2 diesel vehicle, the engine is running very loudly, the mechanic said that the engine balls and the camshaft are gone. The vehicle is running hard, but the mechanic said that he can stay on the road at any time. I was using the wheel balls. I looked at the service book today, there are many more kilometers in the timing change, but they wrote every 5 years. My clion was 7 years. I don't know if the current engine failure could have been from the timing. I hope my experience has been useful, Erhan.

ok guys, I will follow your advice, I shouldn't leave the chance to work, I bought this vehicle just 2 months ago, now 168200 km, the friend who sold this vehicle to me also used it for 1 year before me but it did not change the timing belt and before I don't know when it has changed or whether it has changed, you will understand the situation as a little bit grave, the best thing is to change and get rid of it, as you say, no need to ride the vehicle with fear, let me feel comfortable, I offer my greetings, my respects, thank you very much to my friends who write answers one by one. Thank you, friends ... :)
