Partner Horn Not Playing Problem Solution

Hello friends,

The problem of not letting the horn of our Peugeot Partner vehicle solved as a result of a little work done.

Oxidation at the contact points that allow the horn to work by removing the airbag section of the steering wheel
The problem was solved by fixing it.

(We remove the battery terminals for safety reasons before the airbag is removed.) After removing the covers around the steering wheel, there are 3 holes on the back of the steering wheel. We push the spring towards the center with the screwdriver from the other two holes to ensure that the airbag comes out. ( However, while doing this, we need to pay attention to the winding cables inside . Otherwise, we may damage the cables .)

In the pictures, it was seen that the parts indicated by arrows were oxidized and these contact points were cleaned with sandpaper.Also, due to the hard pressing of the horn, the metal at the contact points were flexed and the correction was made with the help of the hookup. The result was successful. :)
