Hello, in my 2011 508 1.6VTI automatic car; two months ago, after 300 km of single-start, calm driving (average 80-90 km/h), I boarded the ferry in Çanakkale and crossed to Gökçeada. No problems, everything was normal. The journey was over, I got into the car on the upper floor of the ferry and started the engine. The first screen showed "oil measurement is invalid", followed by "check the engine oil". I turned the key back on and started it again, it started normally without these warnings, no warning, no audible warning, no service sign... It waited normally, I pressed the starter and started the car. On land, in the park, I immediately checked the oil level on the dipstick before walking, I reached under the vehicle... You know, there was no knocking or scraping, but I still looked for an oil leak, etc. Nothing, it was spotless. Since I'm sure of my maintenance, I didn't pay much attention to this warning. I wouldn't do these things for 10 minutes. It drove, didn't. I got back in, turned the key, no warning, everything started normally. The next morning, when I started the car to go to the market, it gave the same warning again. I turned the key again, turned the ignition off and on again... It started up again without a warning. I checked the oil level again, it was solid and full. It still remains that way. The oil level is full. I must have driven over 350 km since the first time all this was noticed. I just drove back home. I never use the car anyway. What is the issue? Why did it happen? I have no idea what to do. I haven't shown it anywhere. It stays that way. I wonder; when I was going up to the top of the ferry (at a very solid vertical angle), the hot oil, which was already in the air, above (I had come from the road and got directly onto the ferry without stopping or waiting), caused the sensor to error, and the system didn't reset this faulty measurement. Does it continue like this? Do I need to have this error cleared?
