Hi, I have a new 206 1.4 hdi vehicle, which I just acquired. I don't know before the car, I have no idea what the glow plug is. As the weather got cold, it stopped working. It's minus 10 15 nowadays, it's air here. Sometimes if the sun gets hot and the heat disappears, but now it is still not working. I did not find any title on the subject, I apologize in advance if there is any. I am waiting for the contributions of friends who have similar problems and have solutions. Thanks, greetings, regards.

When I went for winter maintenance, it was measured as -30, and I did not observe any freezing in the reserve warehouse.

One thing I should mention is; After running last night and waiting for 10-15 minutes at idle, I covered the engine with a blanket, on the recommendation of a master, it seemed that it worked, but the last situation is that the car does not work again

Well, in the first study, if you don't have gasoline, you run the LPG dem.

My teacher can do this when the battery is weak.

Sir, the vehicle is diesel.

[QUOTE = xmen] In what condition the battery, my teacher can do this if it is weak. [/ QUOTE]

When the air temperature is normal, there is not even a misfire, like a clock, but here is the temperature going from the minus. Normally, I never checked it, let me see. Thank you.

my brother sister troubles the reasons why diesel cars don't work in winter

1-battery may be weak
2-glow plugs are about to expire.
3- The fuel you get has normal diesel, shell nitro + or wurt diesel fuel additives.
In your 4-vehicle, engine oil is most likely using 10w / 40. Replace your oil with 5w / 40 oil.
5- I agree with the suggestion of the master, continue to wrap with a blanket.

Thank you brother. Let's do what you say. I hope it is not a glow plug or something, I have never read good things. Thank you.

When plugging the glow plug at 25-30 TL, the master needs to be careful. And when did the fuel filter change?

Oh, my brother, don't pour hot water or something like that, it may cause plastic parts to crack. When you say "Ask me to make a eyebrow," he turns to an eye-catching conversation.

Thank you bro for your help. I have seen an antifreeze with my eyes, and I am comfortable since it is minus 30. The rest is Allah.

Hi, I investigated the vehicle. The battery is at least 3 years old, as well as glow plugs. It is said to be 5w40, although it is not clear about the oil. I had the chance to try the vehicle in the past time. I had been going for 3 days and tried myself, and I had a good battery, the car was not receiving any starter. We went to work with friends last night and tried reinforcement. It is interesting that since Sunday evening, the car lying in the frosty in this situation has been connected in one starter after connecting the cables and opening and closing a few contacts. I ran around for a while after running in the evening. Occasionally I stopped and restarted. He worked without problems as he warmed. When I quit, I covered the engine in its warm form and left it so that it would not get wind. However, in the morning, the vehicle started again but did not work. It seemed like it was going to take a couple of tries, but it started not to start again. This time we tried to reinforce from the neighbor's vehicle. It took again in one starter. As such, this also gave me the idea that the battery might have a higher option. I am thinking of buying a battery, do you think there will be a solution? There is also a brand recommendation, I read on the pages that the happy brand on the vehicle is 60 amp 540 cca, the important part is cca. If I buy a 600 cca battery, will it harm the vehicle? Thanks. Aegean Blue 206 2016-12-22 09:21:23

I mean the battery was pert in 3-4 years, I changed the original battery in 2015. Smile

exactly the cca, so the starting amperage increases as the cca increases, unfortunately. There is no damage to 600 cca, but we have to look at that value on a battery of 60 ah. There are 72 ahs or something.
