Hello friends, I have just registered to the forum and have looked through it but have not seen any similar posts. The problem with my car started with the ESP-ASR and ABS brake system malfunctioning when I moved the steering wheel slightly while taking off, especially on a slightly inclined road. When this malfunction occurred, the power in the car would momentarily cut out but the car would not stop and then the power would return to normal. Later, when I stopped the car, parked it and got back in the car, the power in the car went completely out. The problem worsened. I first tried to fix this by removing the terminal and reconnecting it. Later, I noticed that only when I touched the end of the cable that connects to the battery from the terminal to the computer and the fuse box on the battery, the problem also went away. When I went to my mechanic, he said the problem could be in 3 areas: the battery / the cable from the battery to the computer / the fuse box on the battery. The battery is new, only a year old, and I have no problems starting or measuring. We re-soldered the cable, but there was no improvement. I also replaced the fuse box above the battery, but the problem still persisted. This problem started after my steering box was overhauled, but when I asked the mechanic, he said he'd probably noticed it and it didn't seem to be related to the box. Is there anyone else experiencing this issue who can offer some guidance? I'd appreciate any insight you could share. Best regards!
