I use an Auto6R transmission. it makes more sense to waste what you call N because the car is running at long stops

I did not understand the intent of knocking, but as soon as we said, the gearbox shaking is not like dsg.

I am using it in the same way as you. Because when I take it to D and walk it creates a gap because it is late and I think this is a very inconvenient situation.
