Good evening..206 1.4 hdi in my car for a long time. I use castrol magnatec 10w40 oil. Recently on a site; I saw the Motul 6100 Synergie + 10W40 oil ad. Do you think it makes sense to drop castrol oil and use this oil in my diesel vehicle? Otherwise, shall I never spoil the course. I wonder about your ideas.

Hello. If the engine noise and the performance of the available oil satisfy you, I think you should not take any risks. If anyone in your area uses a motul 6100 10w40 with the same engine code, you should definitely listen to their views. Otherwise, you may get an unexpected engine noise, click, or a different grunt, and it will be really annoying. Good forums ..

Thanks for the comment. When my diesel vehicle is loaded at 270,000 I have a smoke and oil reduction problem. I wondered if maybe it would do some good.

I quit Castrol years ago, my teacher, I last used it in 2015. Of course, then I switched to mobile and lastly to the motula in 2017, I am happy with all of my vehicles. The sound thing is completely relative castrol 10/40 is a non-synthetic oil and lots of sah. oil quality in motul is much better than castrola. My tarcihim is for the motul. However, oil reduction and smoke removal may not pass. There will be a decrease after 2-3 maintenance. The reason is the differences in the evaporation temperatures of the oils.
