MORE OIL CONSUMPTION IN ENGINE 1- There is oil leakage outside.
- Piston rings are worn out because they are worn.
- If blue smoke comes out of the exhaust pipe while the engine is running, this is usually a sign that the Circlips are missing oil. Sometimes circlips can get stuck in their nests due to waxing. In such cases, the circlips can be released without turning on the engine by putting the appropriate solvent (melter) in the tank.
- Pistons and cylinders are worn.
- Cylinder body is multiplied by tightening the cover bolts.
- The gap between the records of the intake valve and the valve stems has grown to the extent that oil can leak into the cylinder.
- Since the vacuum pump diaphragm is perforated, oil is absorbed from the sump to the intake manifold.
- The excessive wear of the main and connecting rod bearings causes excess oil to splash on the cylinder walls.
- The pressure of the lubricating oil has increased too much because the oil pressure control valve is faulty or clogged.
- If the piston pins are lubricated with pressure, loosening the pin increases the passage of oil into the cylinder.
- Very thin oil is used in the engine. Or because the quality of the oil, which is suitable thickness in cold, is not good, the engine gets thinner when it gets hot. For this reason, the oil consumption of the engine increases. (SHARED FOR YOU FROM MY COURSE NOTE) |
