Hi Friends,

My car is 2003 model 307 1.6 XR.
While I am driving, there is a momentary power outage at different times.
All electrical system , lights, headlights etc go and come back. There is no problem in the running of the vehicle.
Is there an electrician, etc., around the European side of Istanbul, where I can show this problem? Does anyone have this situation?

Beylikdüzü Beykent Önöz Peugeot Service, call and ask, maybe it will solve your problem, but it seems like Sarj Dynamo will take care of your job.

Seems like brain ecu issue. There is an auto electric Bekir Usta on the Anatolian side, I recommend it. I had the same problem, when it got hot, the electricity was cut off.

Thank you.
Did your problem occur recently? What was the approximate cost to you?

My car gave all the known warnings and warnings due to the classic electrical fault in the 307s, take a call. ABS was working but giving an error, for example. We found out that the problem was in the alternator and we replaced it.

The master understood our problem with the brightening of the headlights when the gas was parked. I gave 800 TL charger for labor in February.

Brother, you should have the battery and alternator checked before handling the expensive part of the brain or something. In general, this problem may occur if the alternator cannot produce enough electricity and cannot keep up with the consumption in the vehicle, or if there is oxidation at the battery terminals. You can buy a multimeter for 50-100 TL and explain the problem yourself. Set the voltmeter to DCV 20. When the battery touches the terminals, the battery should be 12.50 Volts and above. Then start the car and if it shows 14 Volts and above when you touch the terminals in the same way, the charger is OK. Then, while the vehicle is running, turn on the lights, etc., and if it doesn't drop below 12.50 volts at the moment, it means that the alternator can produce enough electricity.

Thank you very much for the details you have provided.. I will check in this direction..
Also, is there an electrician you can recommend on the European side of Istanbul?

Sometimes it seems expensive to accept the problem and find a solution, but it can be cheap.
I put the brain possibility to the end because it is expensive. In this process, I spent so much money and time on the coil spark plug crank sensor temperature sensor battery charger speed sensor fuse box piece by piece that it broke both my budget and my psychology. The car remained at him for 3 5 days. He said it was a brain malfunction. 3 4 years ago, he installed a brain worth about a thousand TL and the problem disappeared.

It's been 6 years since I left Istanbul. Therefore, there is no European side that I can recommend. But every electrician will check the battery and alternator in 3-4 minutes.

I am definitely not a fan of leaving the tool to the master. Especially at this time.. Most of them can guide in filling their own pockets.

When I woke up on a November morning 4 years ago, the car was not starting, the battery was discharged, the lights on the screen were off. I guess I forgot to turn the tape off or I thought I did. I went to the electrician and got it fixed. It was mainly a place that sold batteries. Checked the battery. "There is no leak in your vehicle, the battery needs to be changed, it always does this from now on," he said. Let's just plug in the battery etc. said. I said stay for now and went home. Then it occurred to me to buy a multimeter. Although I do not have much knowledge, I checked it with a multimeter by looking at the net. Everything seemed normal according to the voltage values given by the men. Anyway, I said I'd change if he did it again and the battery hasn't had a problem for 4 years. If I had changed the battery that hasn't been causing any problems for 4 years, it would be time to change it this year :D

Do you think the masters are doing it, do you think they get paid for the part they haven't changed, or who spend a ton of money to repair the non-existent fault and come to the real fault? . The man loosens one screw, by not telling you about it. A few say let's stay with us, this piece will change. You trust and give, they tighten the screw and take your money and eat that money halal and halal. Therefore, it is necessary to wait at the beginning and understand this business a little bit.

You're right, my master, I think we need to understand and stand by these things even a little..
I don't understand much about these things, but at least I can pretend I understand Big smile

Hello,

I visited 8 places over the weekend..
First I went to the electrician, he said it was the job of the brainchild without even lifting the hood. ..
Thanks to the electrician I went to, he finally opened the hood :) He checked the battery and charger, charging current, etc. and said there is no problem. But of course, there is a problem, our shopkeepers either don't like the job or they don't need money anymore. they were full :) In short, we came to our house without being able to figure it out..
