replacing the rearview mirrors of the car because the adjustment buttons are faulty, the new mirrors' covers are not painted ... do I have to sand them with zero water sandpaper and then paint them with spray paint without removing them from the vehicle ??? Does it hold paint ?? Or should it be removed, putted and painted? frankly, the disassembly is not much for me ... if there is a way to disassemble it will be much better..thanks ..

Well, I changed the mirror, believe me, the worst solution is to remove the cover from the old mirror and attach it to the new mirror. There is neither color shortage nor anything else. Very easy to disassemble. Then, if you want the unpainted cover on your hand, you can paint it yourself.
