Cleaning the Reader Lenses of RD3 Units

Tool Supplies.

- Forks for removing the unit made of clothes hanger
- Torx Screwdriver set
- Pure Alcohol
- Hookup
- Small Flat screwdriver
- Electric band
- Ear cleaning litter

We remove the unit and remove its connectors with a flat screwdriver.

We remove the top cover of the unit by freeing it from 6 claws.

We unscrew the 4 torx screws holding the CD drive mechanism.

We remove the electrical connector of the mechanism.

You can see the CD lens when you hold the mechanism with the back facing you as shown in the figure. From this range, we insert our cotton litter moistened with pure alcohol on one side and clean the lens with soft movements. Then we do the final cleaning with the dry side of the garbage. Let's avoid sudden movements that will damage the lens, and after wetting the ear litter with alcohol, squeeze it with our finger and remove excess alcohol.

Before we reassemble the unit, let's stiffen the edge nails a bit. Let's wrap the back grip with some electrical tape under the fabric so that it stays firmly in its seat.

Exchange of readers of RB3 RD3 Units.

The original Rb3 (cassette player) and Rd3 (Cdçalar) VIN codes on our vehicles are controlled by the ECU. If the vehicle brain does not approve the VIN code, the tape will be released every 3 seconds. will not let us hear the music with a beep sound. So what do we do when we replace our broken unit with a new one? Unfortunately, we will have to follow the authorized service directly and introduce the new tape to the vehicle for 50YTL fault detection fee. In this article, I will explain how to replace the reader head of a unit with a defective reader head with a head we provide from the publishers.

RD3:

The top cover of our unit is fitted with 3 separate tabs on 3 sides. we open the top cover by freeing it from the nails.

We unscrew the 4 screws holding the reader head.

Unscrew the reader with the screws removed. We disassemble the electrical connector.

We replace the old reader with a new one.

B3

Just like rd3, we remove the top cover. We disconnect the electrical connector by removing the 4 screws marked in the picture.

Haşim master took off the tape and took it home to look for a project, but it did not turn on when I connected 12 power supplies at home. I thought it didn't turn on because it didn't receive a signal from be bsi, but what is your opinion?

I had it run at home. But I just run it as power. I couldn't get a sound because there was no BSI. By the way, what is the project ??

I would like to make a small contribution to this beautiful subject, the rids of the RD4 I have given below are the caps in the lower part of the spectrum. After saying 6-7 screws, there is no nail that opens directly, so the cd mechanism is reached by removing the bord at the bottom. The rest is the same as RD3.

Do friends ask the code when the rd3 unit is removed from the vehicle and the tape is turned on?

The reason I asked was, I went for a long time with my 206+ I for 3 days, after taking 2-3 hours of open airway, the lamps under a few buttons on the tape winked and went out, and then the car got better when it cooled in front of the house. all the lamps are on again.
The condition called cold soldering is easily removed by removing the front side in question.
If I go to the service and say warranty, they will disassemble the tape and send it for repair, it is gone, I will stay without tape for a long time,
I couldn't decide if I sold out my service and soldered myself.

When he disassembled and inserted the tape, he doesn't want a code.

But if it were me, I would take care of it for you. Don't bother yourself. If there is another problem

cost unnecessarily. Of course, the final decision is yours. Respects...

you are right I do not want to reach, but for a simple operation it will be absurd for a long time so I was undecided I guess it's best to take the vehicle to the service tomorrow

great header here i came to the gas and removed the tape.
As you turn the gears in front of the engine to reach the lens, the lens comes aside and becomes easier to clean.

my tape remained ripped all night long, I wore it in the morning did not ask for a code.

The following 5 cd reader does not work in me, the lights are constantly blinking Confused He said he'd take it to a mechanic and said it would be expensive because of his undercoat. He said that it was not worth the repair. He said something was wrong. The room was expensive. He said it was expensive. I left it. He used to work spontaneously. He worked two days.
I want to take it out and clean it, maybe I can just remove it with those forks so that it will be fixed?

Now, the tape in the top is not just mp3, but only the track is played, it is a problem. Smile

If USB can be input to this tape, I will never be able to access it with 5 li. I would appreciate if anyone with knowledge on this matter helps. Approve
