When one of the doors is not closed properly, the vehicle is locked and opened again at the same time. My guess is that the system may see one of the doors open. I think it might give a warning if it is, but something mechanical can happen. In other words, when the electric lock knocks the mechanism, it encounters a situation that will think the door is open and cancels it back. In normal muscle strength, this is a problem, but it is not a problem. If I was, I would check the lock mechanism first.
