Some vehicles have a display infrastructure but need to change the wiper arm to activate it.
First of all, you should try to check if the information on the screen has changed by pressing the button on the end of the wiper arm. If there is no change, you will need to change the handle to activate the trip computer.

In some vehicles, the opposite happens, there is an arm, but it is not visible on the screen.
Note: my vehicle is also 2004 307 XR 1.4 hdi

Interestingly, my father's car was 2005 307 1,4 HDi XR. When we got zero, the trip computer was actively working.

I am pressing friends but it does not happen. There is no button on the end of the wiper arm. Just pressing it makes the click sound die?

If you are comparing it, I peel it off, the button on the end of the wiper arm is similar to the button on the end of the signal arm. I guess you don't have a button, just a cover. There was talk about how this part could be modified and turned into a button in the forum.

The signal arm of the 206 and 307 must be the same, so I know that the two fit together.

It is an interesting situation when there is no button but a sound is heard.
If you put photos of the screen and wiper arm, we can help more.

in some it may be that the end of the arm is changing, not the complete signal arm. detailed information is available in the forum.

hardwarehaber also sent a friend video. In some models of the 307s, as you said, that tip is changing. I removed that part for 206+, but it wasn't like that. There was a strip and it was not removed. I never opened the other pin part. I removed the end cap and activated the button event. It would be wrong to say something without looking in the 307s. Carefully, you can remove the small cap at the end and try the button with the help of something thin.
On the other hand, if the tip needs to be changed, it is better for the friend to contact someone who knows.
