Hello everyone. I own a 2011 Peugeot 5008. I bought my car two months ago. I'm getting a particulate filter error. The person I bought it from said they just had it refilled, but when I took it to the mechanic last weekend, he said it was at 40% capacity and that he had added DPF cleaning solution to the diesel tank. If it needs to be replaced, he's talking about a total of 34,000 for the EGR, particulate filter, and the cleaning. My question is: is cleaning the filter without replacing it a solution? Has anyone had it done? Secondly, some people have had this filter completely removed. If so, how do they pass the inspection? Thanks in advance.
