How to Update SMEG?

* These Updates are only valid for 208 and 2008 models. To find out which version of your SMEG device is, press and hold the MENU button on the SMEG for 10 seconds. We open Winrar and extract the file

We throw the extracted file directly into Flash memory without opening the folder.

And it's time for the update process, before we insert our Flash memory into the USB port of our vehicle, we get the car running, whether you drive the car or wait at idle, but the engine must be running.

• We plug in our USB Memory and start waiting, SMEG will automatically scan the memory (a warning called Media Verification), then you will see your Old update version and the new update version to be replaced. Press yes to start the update.
• Wait without touching the SMEG Screen at all. New firmware (software) will be started to be installed on the device as below image.

• When finished, SMEG will be restarted automatically, and BEWARE here. After the device restarts, the screen asking us to update again will appear, we remove the flash memory before pressing anything, and then we touch No.
• That's it, SMEG has now been updated.

SMEG Codes;

Press and hold the MENU button to enter the SMEG Codes, keep pressing it when the smeg information section comes up (do not pull your finger at all), the CHEAT CODE section will appear.

BT: In SMEG, Bluetooth is always on. When you enter this code, you can turn it on and off.
BTINFO; It projects the Bluetooth information on the screen.
BTRENAME; You can change the bleutooth name.
BTSTARTER; To reboot when the Bluetooth hardware encounters a malfunction.
FPS: The screen displays the FPS rate.
HWINFO: Displays SMEG Information.
NETINFO: Displays internet information for navili models.
PING: Measures GPS ping for Navili models.
REBOOT: Restarts the SMEG Device.
SPYCLN: Deletes the search part for the Navili model.
SWINFO: Displays software information.
SYSMON: Displays system software codes.
TUNERINFO: Displays radio - TA information.

Note: It is available in other codes. However, I did not share it as it may damage your SMEG device.

Can Navigation Feature Be Added to the SMEG Device?

I haven't found the appropriate UPDATE file for this yet, but as far as I can see from the system tray, there are 3 kinds of SMEGs, one standard only plays (Multimedia screen), the other has both file playback and internet access (SMEG +), and the third one has a navigation + internet system ( SMEG Pro)

What changes will there be with this update?

I bought allure in 2008 last week, I bought everything with the exception of the park assist. I'm a bit novice to the vehicle. I discover some things as I use them. The vehicle is very beautiful and comfortable. but when i received peugeot 2008 not playing cd i realized it. I uploaded mp3 to usb stick. I looked at whether I can watch the video. does not show videos. doesn't show the photos either. I can only see photos of album covers. Is there a lack of software or I couldn't do it? I researched about Smeg screen, I could not find any information. I would appreciate if you help.

I updated it in the service, I was not satisfied at all.First it showed how many kilometers to go with the road as 110 km, 90 km or 50 km in the city.After the update, this feature disappeared.
