Set out to understand the shock absorber explosion, if it makes a sound, the shock absorber may have exploded. Also bend under the vehicle and if the shock absorber breaks out, it will leak oil. But my view is that the rear shock absorbers were not upright in the 206s. It is positioned towards the bottom of the vehicle. so the blast of the shock absorber won't make your vehicle fall down I guess there is a situation arising from springs or wedges. good luck but no matter what your problem be mechanical

In my old car golf, the rear shock absorbers were blown more than they should have been. Could it have happened if there was an oil leak?
