Friends, I am waiting for your help with a few questions. On my 2004 model peugeot 307 XR,

1) When the vehicle is cold, when turning the steering wheel on the first run, it sounds as if something metal is rubbing somewhere. After a few minutes, this sound disappears (when I start the car on the same day, there is no sound and the car was previously processed from the right side)

2) They said there was a sound coming from the back right and asked for 135TL, excluding workmanship. Is the price of this reasonable?

3) How many TL will I replace my car's oil filter and filter?

4) Can the source in question 1 be the timing? How much does it cost to change the triger?

First of all Good Day

1) In your First Question, you probably have the possibility to hear such a sound because the blades inside the box are worn from the steering wheel, but in general you should look at it.

2) The back right ball ball, which ball is in the center, I think it is appropriate. I think it is simple.

3) Sorry I have no idea :)

4) Now your problem is steering, so the steering box hydraulic pump.Triger here is the only steering pump he gives, if you were in the triger, you would say your friends would be like the steering wheel sometimes gets too heavy, but your problem is not related to the hydraulic pump so it sounds.

Respects.

1 = the first sound, especially when it is cold, does not come from the steering, but the lower rod or tie rod is dry. commutative ..
2 = how the sound of the ball is humming on the straight track.
3 = of course the oil is not changed without changing the oil, the average oil is 4 liters 50 lira ... the filter is 10 lira in the pieces.

4 = there is nothing to do with triker ... do not worry. There is enough to control the team..It does not have anything to do inside the steering, it always does if it is related to steering. This is normal in hot weather, if you pay attention, it doesn't do it in the rainy day ... detect the dried part, and replace it.

1. From what side does the sound come from? ask someone for help and check. The front team? pump? .. Check if there are any parts in the front assembly with blown parts. most likely it is a swing or tie rod head. As the Turbo27 says, if it has been opened, it has dried in time.
2. You do not need to buy the original package for the bearing. disassemble the ball and investigate it from the ballists in the industry. are between 40 and 60.
3. 10 TL oil filter
4. Not related to timing
