Immobilizer, in its simple form, ensures that the vehicle does not work without your (paired) keytar. The key is expensive because the authorized services order the switch and the jeep inside. The cheap way to do this is to get a new, uncoded key that has never been used, to have it cut and to code it with PP200 or Diagbox.

The price is the standard for this business, they usually give these prices, a good thing to back up is a spare key.
