Hello friends,

My 206 2000 model car has frosted glass headlights with H4 short and long. The headlights have broken feet and the windows are very scratched.

I found a new type of H7 short long transparent headlight set in a friend. I will take these and dim and use them like the current headlights. Maybe I'll apply it to the lens in the future. But my vehicle has one type of H4 socket. How do I connect the electric of the new headlights. Can you give a simple operation or information?

As far as I can remember, the socket is actually connected to the headlight with a socket outside of the headlight, and then it is distributed to the inner side. Maybe there is no need to do anything, brother, you check it.

I have not received the headlight yet. I do not want to take this job without being sure. So if I cut the h4 socket and connect the h7 socket, then. It seems to me that I will find out which cable to connect to, even if I make two h7 sockets for short and long. But if it burns together for a short time, I wouldn't be surprised, so my electrical knowledge consists of removing and installing the battery.

bro, you are not dealing with sockets. you just connect the socket where i marked room standard. that is, if the control is the same, it will not require any operation.

Ok so if you just cut the h4 socket and turn it into the h7 socket with the right cable connection, the event will be resolved. Thank you so much.

Let me summarize, my brother, I could not explain, a little bit from me. You definitely do not touch the bulb sockets, they are already in the headlight, that is, no action will be taken inside the headlight. This is the socket that connects from the outside of the headlight, so the signals are parks - long, short lighting - the electricity comes from here and leaves in the headlight. just have the same socket on your headlight, brother look at him :)

There is no socket in my headlight. There is h4 female socket on the cable coming from the installation. The bulb is attached to it, then the bulb is placed in the headlight bowl and the spring clamp is closed from behind. Like Tofaş. So I probably need to replace my female h4 socket and plug it into the male socket on the headlight

ok teacher I got it now I found the picture as you said no detailed. There are many who do not as soon as they are done, but the dawn is probably solved by a simple operation that switches to the headlight.

As I understand that you want to do something like this, the most effective method without cutting and mowing is to make a socket in this way.

In the same way, I had h4 type frosted headlights when I changed the headlights as a result of accident. I bought new type h7 short high beams. There is no socket connection in h7.
