I bought the 407 1.6HDI vehicle and bombarded the forum, I hope it doesn't always happen, sorry. I have always used petrol before buying this vehicle; For this reason, I said, let me get information from you: In my car, under what conditions do I have to increase the gear and at what speed do I have to drop gears; for minimizing fuel consumption and also extending engine life and for the health of the vehicle? Thanks.

The opposite in diesel is then; I mean, when it is overturned, it is necessary to upgrade gears, does this bring with it much fuel consumption?

Except for the diesel-gasoline duo, I do as follows. my speed or revolution is fixed as much as possible. So even if my front is empty, I fix it to 90 or go to another speed that way. this is the healthiest for both fuel and engine life. instead of going 80-90-80-90-80-90 continuously, if you go to 110 with a constant, you will burn less. When it comes to the diesel, I will not go under that cycle at whatever speed it gives the most torque. because it is the most comfortable engine that can run at that time. If it gives in 2000, when I get to 2500, I will shift up and start the next gear from 2000 again. (values estimate) There is no such rule, but I prefer to use it this way.
