2005 160,000 km Partner Adventure 2.0 The fuel consumption of my HDI vehicle was about 9-10 lt / 100 km, although I could read some articles, I could not drop the fuel yet. In a new article I read, it was written that going at a constant speed would reduce consumption. I tried not to use series and not to give too much gas and if I was going to slow down on the straight road, I tried to put the gear into neutral if I was going to leave the gas a bit. I anticipated red light from a distance and stopped giving speed and gas early. I tried not to speed uphill and I tried to go idle if the downhill gear would not accelerate at idle. The result fell to 7.5 liters / 100 km of fuel, I recommend. How did I calculate the fuel? I filled the tank (starpet-samandira) and after a week I made 156 km and filled the tank again (total). I paid 11.81 LT = 52.67 TL. I caught factory data at 52.67 TL / 156 KM = 0.383 TL / KM or 7.57 LT / 100 KM. rkn2013-10-03 17:36:06

Thanks for the information, useful information, but I do not recommend going idle. & Nbsp;
Personally, I throw the car 5e on the straight road and press the throttle a little or while going downhill, I also throw it 5e or 4e according to the situation and apply the brakes at the required places. I would. :)

there is a slight difference between going down a slope idle and going down in gear without stepping on any gas. If there is cut off feature in most vehicles, it is more economical to get in gear

As long as the engine is running in vehicles with turbo, it should never be wasted ...

It is understood in vehicles with road computers, when the downhill descends in gear without stepping on the gas does not burn fuel, if you leave it idle, it consumes more fuel.

The brothers vehicle. Connect to the computer. But go and go to a good place that makes fuel pumps for diesel vehicles, not an electrician. Malfunction information, which does not appear in normal electricians, appears in the pumpers. Clear faults. What happens when you change? 1. The vehicle will stop throwing smoke 2. The drive will be noticeably increased 3. The friction will decrease directly by half. and all costs only 10 TL. Try and see.
