Help with 307 heat indicator

Hello friends, I traveled 500 km with my 307 1.6 hdi vehicle when the weather was around 0 degrees. The temperature did not exceed 75 degrees. Even when the gas cut off in a snowy part, the indicator went down to 50 degrees. Is this normal? I request
