In the How-To section, there is a topic opened in the name of the headlight sealing guide. Summer is coming slowly. My headlights started to turn yellow and dusty well. There are a few questions stuck in my head. Let's open the headlight with a heat gun in an oven, let's say we cleaned it. I think the important thing is to turn it off. Is there anyone who can explain what we should pay attention to when closing and in detail which silicone should be used? Many thanks for your help in advance.

I wouldn't recommend you try it yourself. You surely leave air or a clear point.
The owner. com also has headlight cleaning like zero to 100 TL. I advise.
So it's worth. medicines polish work.

As a result of my Zenon headlamps, my headlamp started getting water, and today we opened the headlamp with a master I trust very much, we cleaned and put it on. I think the result was nice, much cleaner than before. When opening it should be careful not to break.

We started to turn on the headlight with the heating machine. There are things to consider when opening. For example, we started to open the headlight (from the side of the bumper) so that it does not look ugly when it is siliconised and attached. After opening one side, when he pulls out, he comes separated. I think do not do this application alone, try with someone who is prone. Also, be careful when wiping the mirror inside. You can close the headlight close to the original with good quality silicone and good workmanship while closing the headlight.

Use black silicone with other transparent silicone as silicone.

The silicon is not too tight without any gaps, the ones that are not too important are throwing out to the outside. Tighten it up so leave it for 9-10 hours then you will see that it is no different from the original :)
