While my Peugeot 206 2001 is in normal driving, the handbrake light flashes for a second, I rarely investigate what is the situation, brake fluid etc. It writes, some of them say the brake fluid is not completed ... Also, what is the cost?

the parking brake sensor may be faulty. If the brake fluid is not completed, if the master is said to be a master, I would say do not pass at his door.

You can do it yourself brother 1 lt brake hydraulic oil In the brake hydraulic tank around 15-20 TL, there is a reduction in the level of the pet glass even if there are level lines. Generally, the reduction makes it from the rear brake centers and gets into the drums.

I say because it happened to me, if there is a gap in the hand brake, that is, if it needs to be stretched, when the hand brake is raised 1-2 mm, the switch contacts under the hand brake are detached and I have lit the hand brake lamp.
I cited the picture from the forum.
There is a hand brake switch under the place I marked, I suggest you check it.

a switch like this.

I would, however, but I did a very second event and rarely did it 2 times with a week, flashing in the course of a cruise

Have you checked the brake fluid. It also lights up because it falls below the minimum flour. When it adds, it goes out but there is a leak. If there is a leak, the pedal will suddenly enjoy it.
In addition, when the brake pads are exhausted, the oil comes to a minimum and it can give warning.

I don't know how I can check the oil level. I opened the brake fluid cap yesterday.

[QUOTE = peugeot55] I don't know how I can check the oil level. I opened the brake fluid cover yesterday. I looked at the yellow oil.

Look at the brake oil box in a flat place on the side, says Max and min.

I looked even now it seems to be close to max. A little reduction would give this warning.

does not destroy. Returns below min. If you did not supplement the brake oil in these few weeks, so much reduction is normal, the piston pushes the pad as it gets thinner so the brake oil seems to be decreasing. If you have reinforced, there is a thin leak, you will have it examined in the industry.

check the following;

Is there a softening on the pedal or touch up to the mop? if not, skip to the next step.
When the ignition is off, press the brake until the pedal becomes stiff, an estimated 4-5 times. then turn on the ignition with the foot depressed on the brake pedal and start the car. Does the pedal suddenly soften and become normal? If the answer is yes, there is no fatal failure in the brake system. the problem may be caused by the handwheel setting or something like sender, socket has made a problem.
