Glow plug failure, does the engine malfunction light come on?

Good evening, friends. My 308 HDi has 168,000 km on it. I'm having a late-starting problem, and some say it's due to the glow plug, or some say it's the injector. If the glow plug is faulty, wouldn't the engine malfunction light come on? Does anyone have any information on this?

There's a risk of the glow plug breaking. My car isn't misfiring, idling irregularly, or emitting smoke, and I don't think it's an injector problem. Some mechanics tell me not to touch their injectors at all. I'm stunned.

I have a friend at the authorized service and he says the glow plug is faulty and will burn it. I suggested changing it a lot, he said don't waste your money, he doesn't like it, but right now my problem persists. Sometimes it starts jerkily or starts late when starting. At one point I thought the problem was caused by the broken rear legs of the filter box. Okay, I thought I solved it, but this slow or jerky start is not noticeable whether it's cold or hot. I solved my problem, my friend. One of the injectors was busted. I took it to two injector repair shops, and they both said the same thing, so I decided to have it repaired at the place that made sense. Of course, it cost a bit more (12,000 TL). The entire assembly, including the injector nozzles, was overhauled.
