Hello,

I had a problem with the glass outer scraper wick some time ago. Following the problem I had, I closed some of the under-water drainage holes but I complained about the water that fills into the door from the wicks. It is a subject that many people, including different brands, suffer.

Since I could not find the wick in the bursa, I ordered from two different parts dealers. In the first one, I bought it from the owner peugeout because the piece was faulty.

But it is a very interesting issue peugeout started to produce different runes with the same oem code. While the wick has a single oem code, the part in question was short on my vehicle. Its structure was also very different from that on it. I created a solution like the pictures. Other musicians can also benefit. I have had no problems at the front door for about 3 months. For this reason, I also applied for the back door.

I applied PVC tape (electrical tape) under the suppositories. My primary goal was to test durability, so I haven't encountered a problem for a long time.

Instead of dealing with taping the tape properly, I got the excess in a few times without sticking the glass from the level of the wick without sticking the glass in the right position (the entire gap will be thick enough to close, and then I took the excess.

I used good quality PVC tape. Globe brand, but the brand in question has several different products. I am of the opinion that the matte ones are better quality.

General view

Victims can stick PVC tape over the wick as an emergency solution. But in this case, the glass does not open. I used it as a temporary but effective solution in heavy rains in winter. I haven't tried the summer heat performance yet, but I guess it was an application that will provide long-term activity. Alternatively, I plan to make silicone sealants under the wick. Of course, in the case of finding a felt / sponge that will provide proper slipperiness.

Edt. Meanwhile, the front doors had closed the front holes with plastic grommets, but the body shop could still leak. So if you put the washers together with the silicone, sealing is provided. In this case, water will be drained from the holes in the end of the door. I recommend that you also clean the hole parts. It can still get water into the door, especially in heavy rains, but it does not leak inside. Water can be drained from the rear holes.

If you add the photos in your hands to my health teacher, I would appreciate this problem in other image providers. It doesn't appear again :)

With the effect of heat, the tapes of these tapes are softening, somewhere smeared tapes are now in the door, let's see how long they will last, beautiful application :)

I will test the performance of the summer. I am wondering too. I preferred quality tape. I think of a different solution, of course. I have now stopped searching for new rovings. Maybe I can look at the publishers when I am available
