Gasoline Smell

My friends problem is that I smell incredible gasoline in my car (especially at high speed). I did not see a leak or leak on the tank (or gasoline evaporated until I saw it) after a while, it was extremely uncomfortable. I tried it a lot, the smell is not there. While buying the vehicle (beg your pardon) I did not cheat and check it thoroughly. The gas tank had no cover. I thought it might be from there, but the smell comes only at high speed.
