Hello everyone. On my 2004 1.4 petrol Peugeot 206, I occasionally smell a gasoline that I can not understand from inside or outside. It seems to be coming in more turns and overpressure. I dismantled the gas pump, changed the gasket, installed it tightly, checked the pipes entering the pump, checked the right rear wheel hood and checked the tank area and the pipes. I will go nuts. So I make many malfunctions of 206 vehicles myself, but I got stuck in this. I will be very pleased if anyone is alive or intellectual. Thanks.

first of all welcome. I think there is a problem with the pipes entering the pump. there may be a small crack. I think when you give the vehicle full throttle, it leaks from this crack.

There is no dripping leak in the pipes at the entrance. I insulated the part where the pump is located. Thank you for your attention

You're welcome. I think that before siliconing, one can sit on the back and observe.

I guess, as you said, there is a thin leak in the pipe, because the volatility of gasoline is high, I can hardly see it. Silicone has worked for now. Valla 206 has no place to disassemble. I say let me open the 206 repairers 😁

One of the chronic problems of 206. It happens to most people. The hoses of the gas pump under the rear seat are cracked. you probably can't see it because it flies away. It will soon manifest itself in the event of Leakage. The second possibility is that the piece is put into place with a special 3-leg apparatus. If you are wearing it without an attachment, it is either not fully tightened or it has lost its oring feature. talip206 2016-09-01 21:14:36
