My car was at quarter fuel. It remained that way for a while. Then I checked today, the indicator shows no fuel, that is, it went down to the bottom. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Does it do this when it falls under the quarter or is it on the float etc. Is there a malfunction?

Hello, it should not do that normally, there is a problem with the float. It may be that it is not perceived due to the slope when parking only on slopes.

There has been no deterioration. But it's interesting that it came down from the quarter. Filled it up.

In many vehicles, the fuel gauge is not directly connected to the float, but to the ecu. It also shows the fuel consumed instantaneously, per 100 km, and by calculating, not measuring, according to the route and injector timings (the amount of fuel injected by the injectors at a certain pressure in a certain time). As a result, it automatically reduces the amount of fuel as it decreases.
