As the gear range of 1.6 is long, it reaches high speeds at low revs, so I don't use 5th gear very much. If you follow instant consumption on the trip computer, you can make gas adjustment better and save fuel. The trick is to step on the gas pedal with the Nazis foot tip.

The reason for your high fuel consumption is that you change gear at low speed. The vehicle struggles while accelerating at low rpm and needs more fuel. You're damaging both the transmission and the engine.

I recommend that you see 2700 3000 revolutions when you shift gears, and when you come in gear, you will see the difference in fuel if you drive the vehicle at low revs, or 2000 revolutions.

Going up to 3000 revs to change gears will fuel the car for 3-4 seconds and you will see the contribution of this in the upper gear.
