Sir, the battery may be old, it may not have enough power for the second starter, there may be a problem with the regulator, or the alternator cable may be old, it may not be feeding the battery well. Have these been checked?

It could be the BSI or BSM brain, it goes crazy when it comes into contact with SI. Mine wasn't stopping either, even though I turned off the starter, it got better when the brain was fixed. I've seen and experienced many problems with Peugeot's BSI and BSM brains, they're a bit of a curse. You can look for the farm that won't shut down, the wiper that won't turn off, the horn that won't work, we've overcome all of them. Thank goodness I'm struggling with oil burning and oil reduction these days, I have a plan to do it.

Well, I'm saving money. It's a nice car, it consumes less fuel and is suitable for the purpose, but unfortunately, it has many chronic problems. I don't think of anything anymore. I want to drain the tank completely and try it with fresh gas. Even my electrician and mechanic are crazy about it. I don't want to spend more or have anyone mess with it anymore.
