I made an oil filter replacement on September 9 .. I put 5w30 oil on whatever mind. (My vehicle has 1.4 diesel at 220 thousand) When I checked this morning, the oil level in the bar was halfway. I have traveled 1652 km in a month since the change. When it is loaded into the vehicle, we have black smoke. I think it burns oil. Since the financial situation is critical, I cannot take it in the barrier right now. What do you think is what can be done? Does it make more sense to sell? |

[QUOTE = Brcbyrktr] Good morning guys. I made an oil filter replacement on September 9 .. I put 5w30 oil on whatever mind. What do you think is what can be done? Does it make more sense to sell? [/ QUOTE] I think my brother change the oil again and observe, because the 5w30 oil is thin, the reduction can make more. I say change with 10w40 oil.

It happened to us before. Since it is thin oil, fat burning occurs. Try it with 10w40, you can add it if needed.

Thanks for the answer .. let me run out of oil. Replace it with 10w40 oil. Should I change the new oil filter again? Are there any additives you can use and recommend? |

Original is 10W40, I use 5w40, but I recommend it. No problem. Change the filter, of course, is not an expensive thing.

I thought it would be useful to get 5w30 fully synthetic but maybe half a month is gone. |
