Hello there,

2002 I bought a Model Peugeot 406 ST 2.0 Auto vehicle. It was so problematic that I sometimes say "If I didn't get it" Gül1 Anyway, one of the problems is this: The air conditioner does not show the outside temperature value. In the articles I read on the internet, it is written that the external temperature sensor is under the right mirror. I think my vehicle has a blank under the right mirror, a white sphere under the left mirror, probably it is. I did not understand if they have installed my sensor in the wrong place or is it faulty. Is the sensor connection located on both the left and right, so is it possible to read from a sensor attached to any mirror? And the glass of my left mirror moves up and down from the control, but not to the left (it sounds but does not rotate, probably its teeth are broken). Since the sensor in me appears under the left mirror, I thought I would order the left mirror, so that both the mirror and the sensor would have changed. But if the sensor needs to be precisely and only under the right mirror, I will try to remove it from the left mirror and attach it to the right mirror. But since this dismantling-tooling was very troublesome, I wanted to make sure first. Thanks in advance for the comments ...

first of all, carefully remove the mirror and try to find out if the sensor is fabricated or attached later.
I don't know if the 406 and 407s have changed some of the assembly and manufacturing principles compared to other models, but for some reason they are different.
I suggest you try to repair the mirror before ordering complete.
If you come to the stage of getting it, you will ask if the sensor is included. At least you know what you are spending

Thank you. I showed it to one or two masters, they said, "It is a little troublesome to disassemble the mirror, we cannot take a risk of glass breakage" and they suggested me to order a new one. But as you say, I will try, if it is broken then we will get a new one :))
