Exhaust tip 206

As my friends took my car upstairs to the parking lot in the morning, I heard a sound from behind, and when I looked it, I noticed that the exhaust tip fell. Does this exhaust tip have a function? If I get it, will it fall again? What can I do?

When you say the exhaust tip? is it for visual purpose? Or is it welded at the end of the muffler?

If you are talking about the ornamental exhaust tip, nothing happens, visual pollution will happen.
