Hello everyone. I have 2015 model Active package full automatic 508. I have an intermittent problem with my car. When I get in the car, I press the start button with my foot on the brake, which is the normal starting procedure, and a warning message "TURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO MAKE UNLOCK EASIER" appears on the screen. Gear does not move out of P. When it first happened to me, I was able to start the car by boosting on suspicion of battery weakening. The second time, I waited for a while and when I tried again, it worked. However, my battery is a new 7-month start-stop battery. I had the battery measured at the service, there was no problem. Why does this problem occur? If anyone knows can help? Thank you from now.

Sir, if the steering wheel turns after the vehicle has stopped, it locks itself while getting up and down. For this reason, when we get in the vehicle, we turn the ignition by moving the steering wheel to unlock the steering wheel. It's like this in the manual. For automatic start-stop, I wonder if the vehicle is stuck on the same issue. this came to mind. Let's try it.

Thank you for the answer. It is like you said in the manuals, but since it is automatic and there is a start button instead of the ignition, it locks all kinds of things. I couldn't solve the problem. The worst part is that I can't move the car because I don't move the gear.

Greetings, you have a problem with some 508s. First try this. Normally, as soon as you get on the starstop vehicles, the brake is not applied and the button is not pressed directly. First, the button is pressed without pressing the brake, the indicator lights flash, then the button is pressed by pressing the brake and the vehicle starts. I'm doing the same with my bnm ford da. Renault too.
Try this, if not, we'll look at what I said first. So many 508s have a mini engine that locks the automatic shift lever. Well, its gear is breaking. Therefore, you cannot move the gear from the O position. Maybe the brake switch is faulty. It may not be detecting that you are pressing the brake. I think auto electricians take care of these jobs. Get ideas from them. You write the result here. Take it easy
