Hello my teacher, I say continue with 5w / 30 in 10/40. Your vehicle has a hydraulic pusher system. 10/40 oils are thick and it breaks the pushers over time. It is best for engine health and life to put 5/30 full synthetic or full synthetic oil in this type of motor. some masters do not have the logic of thick oil that exceeds 150000 km is absolutely wrong. Especially you have LPG in your vehicle. The oils with low viscosity do not have good evaporation and lubrication properties at high temperatures and do not protect the engine. Starting late leads to consequences such as high fuel consumption. Of course, you can use 5w / 40 oil if you say that the land is very thin. but definitely put synthetic oil in your vehicle. I have always used synthetic engine oil for the current 206-308-scenic vehicle for years and I have always been satisfied.

I used the manufacturer's recommendation Total oil on all of my Pejo tools. I had no problem. Since your vehicle is a bit old, I think a total of 10/40 would make more sense. There is no need for more expensive oils. If you use 5/30, you will encounter the problem of burning engine oil.

The old vehicle does not cause this. I have a 2000 model renault scenic 2.0 16v vehicle and I use motul 5w / 40 synthetic oil reduction etc. no. even the engine running of the vehicle is better. Thick oils hydraulic pusher vehicles cause difficulties for the future. my friend has 300000 km 308 1.6 hdi and he has been using 5w / 30 oil for years. no. This is completely fabricated by our masters. this is my opinion
