Engine Oil

Hello friends, I have a question. My car is a 2006 Peugeot 206 1.4 HDI Diesel. I changed the engine oil before, but I forgot which one. After looking at Castrol and doing some research, I learned that 5w30 engine oil is suitable for my car. Will this cause any problems? What is your favorite oil model and brand?

Hello, I've been using Castrol C2 5w30 oil in my HDI 206 for 10 years. Thankfully, I've never had any problems. The specifications are either 5w30 or 5w40. You can use either oil safely. Oils that meet specifications like Acea C2 and API Sn are suitable.
