My 2019 model 1.2-liter Prutech 110hp automatic has experienced a P11A8 exhaust camshaft phase shifter motor failure three times in a year, with 43,000 km/h. The fault light comes on when the vehicle overheats due to heavy traffic. My mechanic cleared it and sent it back each time. Another mechanic said the camshaft was broken and needed to be replaced. Is this a problem that needs to be addressed immediately, or will it cause any damage to the engine? When the fault light comes on, the engine loses traction, but after a while, it resumes its previous performance. I would be very grateful for any help. Thank you in advance.
