Hello there,
I'm trying to get used to my 508 1.6 THP Allure vehicle I just bought.
Although I read the manual and searched in the vehicle, I could not solve two issues.

1. It is recommended not to pull the automatic parking brake in cold weather. I failed to follow this advice :)
2. There is no contact in the vehicle, it works with the start stop button. Can it also be operated manually with the key?

Give some help to your ignorant friend, thank you.

I mean, what we mean by my teacher, we learned in time. As for the answer to your questions

1- In the cold, not only automatic parking brake, but normal manual brakes, rear brakes stick, this can happen in many brands of vehicles. Of course, this is a more common situation where you live. If your parking space is flat, you may not be able to shoot it. no problem
2- There is no ignition key slot on the vehicles with star stop button.

Thank you very much, soner, thank you.
I live in Gölbaşı / Ankara, two weeks ago, there was no problem at -12 ° C. Let's hope we don't live

Should Soner brother be able to not apply the hand brake if it is necessary in the cold? Did I get it wrong?

so it would be better not to pull it, but the chance of freezing is actually I have never encountered in my 206 cars. There is not much trouble in Trabzon, too much - it does not fall in values. For example, here in our Anatolian -5 -8 degrees night or even yesterday's 407 frozen handbrake of my neighbor

I understand, brother, it is not very cold right tonight will be -2 at most. Though the place I filmed is a flat ground only if it is in gear. So if this handbrake freezes, the vehicle will not move, because the rear brake will lock? So there is no harm without understanding, right?
