Electric Side Mirror

I am considering replacing the manual side mirrors of my 2003 model 1.4 HDI with electrics. Can i do that Do I have problems with electrical connections and control (if I change the glass on / off) buttons? Briefly, is it necessary to pull electrical wiring for this process?
