Place the protractor on the crankshaft to be reset at TDC. Position the gauge on the valve spring retainer as well. Turn the engine until the indicator shows full lift value. After checking how many degrees you are rotating, continue turning until full fall is observed on the lift. Actual full lift value is the point between it. For example, if the full lift value is observed between 105 ° and 115 °, the actual full lift value will be 110 °. For a single eccentric motor, it is sufficient to check the intake valves only.
