Hello there,
I do the maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle I bought second hand, the issue I have in mind is the issue of oil change in the EAT 6 Automatic transmission. The manufacturer says that the oil of this transmission has not changed for a lifetime. The underlying issue is what is the life of this gearbox without changing oil :)

Now the vehicle has changed at least 60 times at least 60 thousand km of engine oil to this day. I don't think the condition of the transmission oil is good at all.

I tampered with the booklets and forums, I couldn't find anything tangible, I read that in the foreign forums, the nation went and changed the service on demand. Is there anyone who has this idea among us?

Which fluid / oil should be used. What is workmanship, price etc.?

According to the authorized service Normally, the gearbox is said to be a maintenance-free gearbox, but the gearbox is made of Japanese Aisin brand.

Hello there,

I have researched quite a lot, the masters say it does not change but says the manufacturer change it in 3 years or 60k Oil castrol desron VI. All the oil in it does not change, but if you take 3 or 4 liters, it dilutes enough. First open and take it from the bottom, then put it from above, finally adjust it with the adjustment plug, close the bottom plug and add another half liter. I recommend making it before the mileage rise before the oil is burned.

Castrol was in a liter bottle while I was buying oil, 1 liter was 75. 3 is enough, but if you say less, get 4. The master also took 150 TL of labor. The process ends in 1 hour if the engine goes hot. Pull from the bottom, fill from the top, and the bottom from the top. Psa knows special services, I had c4 same gearbox. Only one oil has changed, not where the filters will change.

Hello there,
I researched the same subject for a long time and saw that the eat6 aisin gearbox was used by many brands such as volvo and ford. If I do not remember the km incorrectly, volvo recommends changing the oil periodically in 60,000 maintenance and the extracted oils are often dirty.
There's a handicap to changing gearbox oil, which actually doesn't change the oil too efficiently and is difficult.
It is not possible to completely drain the gearbox oil in this type of gearbox. Dirty oil remains between the gears and the torque convector. Also, when changing oil, the mechatronic unit should not remain oil-free.
In a few oil change videos, I watched that the oil was drained and then the oil was drained from the oil level plug and this was done many times. However, even after this oil change, it was evident from the color of the excess oil that the old oil did not change 100%.
Motul has an atf oil change device, which can be connected to the vehicle's transmission oil filter or oil cooler, and the oil inside can be completely replaced while the vehicle is running.

For Eat6 and eat8 they used a magnet at the base instead of an oil filter, I don't know if there is an oil cooler, connecting pipe or integrated. I could not find a clear answer in this regard.
It is also not easy and unreasonable to partially disassemble the gearbox and drain the oil. You need to find an acquaintance from the Volvo service and find out about it.
If you come to your question, as with every chemical life, the oils are lifespan and should change, but for those who think that the big producers don't know this or sell it to us as neglected: a senior engineer friend working in renault, we change that oil, just shout it "We don't do shout," he said.

Yes, although not all of the oil in the gearbox is changed, 87.5% of the 3 fill is empty. The 100% old one is good at all, since the remaining 12.5 percent is also diluted.

Long story short, any good to change. Since sealed systems do not actually install covers from above, the life of the oils is of course very long but never forever. Please do it if you are going to use it for many years or if the person you are selling does not want you to be behind you. If the auto culture develops in our country, the fears will decrease, the producers who put the dsg here in Europe automatically and listen to the consumer may also listen.

If you still have a problem with automatic transmission services with a device of the following type, it is more reasonable to make 99% replacement at once.

Hello, I threw the Peugeot Turkey distirbitör the mail. They made a turn and said that the EAT6 transmission is not oil maintenance.

They do not change, they say that they will sell spare parts for you. Go to automatic transmission or a good Peugeot master.

There is no such thing as unchanged oil. Oil change is essential especially for systems with friction discs that will create metallic deposits and burrs, such as gearboxes. It is useful to change the oil at intervals that are not too long, where the filter cannot be changed without dismantling the gearbox completely. I had a mechanical change in my vehicle (2015 bluehdi eat6). We used 9lt oil in total and almost all of the oil inside was changed. This replacement should be done with 10-11 liters for warranty purposes. The oil specification you need to use must comply with JWS-3324. 3309 or something. It will be 3324. Do not add other oil. If possible, take the oil yourself and go for the change. https://i.hizliresim.com/zljz0X.jpghttps://i.hizliresim.com/7vkU5V.jpg Comparison of old and new oil. The biggest difference is of course the color. In addition, worn oil creates more foaming and this is a big problem for systems operating under this pressure.

Thank you teacher. I live in Istanbul. I would be glad if anyone who reads this post will advise a master who does this job in Istanbul.

Friends, I live in Ankara. I called the Peugeot itself, they called it 2 days later, they said it has a life of 600,000 km. By the way, when my vehicle reached 160.000 km, it was reacting 1 or 2 seconds late when it first started in gears, but there was no problem in other gears and shifts. I called the Aydoğmuş gearbox. They invited me. (Meanwhile, there is e250 Mercedes, they changed the transmission oil at 140,000.) They said, laughing, that I have a transmission life up to 600 thousand km that km, so that there is an oil life. They said there was a change in 60 thousand after the first 80 thousand. They said there was castorl or motul oil, I said put the motulu. if you do not change the oil in time. When we changed the oil, they said, although rare, the malfunction may burn. I saw the oil coming out, it was like water. When I changed the oil, there was no problem in the car, there was no fault or something, thank goodness for now. the reaction of the car was like the first day. returned to normal in performance. Go friends, change your oil. But choose good place. The people on the service are unknowingly shaking their heads.

the gearbox takes 9 liters of oil. They emptied the oil, it turned out to be 2 lt. They added 6 liters of oil. They looked at the level, they said okay and even switched gears back and forth while on the lift, they added oil. We put 6 liters of oil from me, and the next time we come and change it again at 40,000 (oil remains in the turbines in the gearbox) Then they said we will change it after 60 thousand km. They received 800 tl oil and labor.

I guess it is written which gear oil should be used when the Sase number is entered in the service. If there is gearbox oil, it is already changing in my opinion. If 65 thousand mercury can be changed by machine, to change.

Hello,
I came across a video while searching on the Internet. I think they change with the machine. I wanted to share it under this topic as it is an up-to-date video.

Guys, the gearbox oil should definitely change if you want to drive more than 150 thousand km. The oil should also be changed with the machine. If the km is high (such as 100 thousand km), it is necessary to take a sample from the oil and check the wear rate of the gearbox before changing. If the gearbox is in good condition, it should be replaced. I got it done at 90 thousand km, thank goodness, there was no problem, the change was made and I felt like I bought the car.

Where and how much did you have the oil change done?

I had it done by the Autotechnics in Denizli, it cost 1000 liras. Since my vehicle is at 95,000 km, the master took a test drive and took a sample of the oil before changing the oil. If the transmission gears are very worn, they do not recommend changing because after the oil change, the new oil will be thinner than the old one, so it can knock and shake. No problem, we changed.
