DUMP VALVE

It is a piece produced to increase the gas response by keeping the turbo pressure high in turbo-fed cars. In cars with turbo feed, the turbo still rotates when the foot is pulled out of the gas, but the high pressure that occurs due to the fact that the air pressed by the turbo does not have a place to go, suddenly slows the propeller by applying a great force to the turbo propeller. When you press the gas again, it is necessary to accelerate the propeller again so that the turbo pressure can reach its peak, and during this process, a great performance loss occurs because the desired turbo pressure cannot be achieved. Dump valve is there to prevent this performance loss.

Does it work at Dump Valve?

When you take your foot out of the gas, Dump Valve immediately activates and releases the air pressed by the turbo, so the propeller will not slow down as the air pressed by the turbo will not backfire and will not apply a back pressure, as the propeller does not slow down as soon as you press the gas again, the turbo pressure reaches the peak immediately and you suddenly you will not experience any loss of performance between gas extraction and compression.

The benefits of Dump Valve?

* It prolongs the life of the turbo by preventing negative back pressure on the turbo propeller.

* It keeps the turbo pressure high by preventing the speed of the turbo propeller to slow down. High turbo pressure means high power.
* It provides added power as it exhausts the old heated air between exhausting and depressing and takes in the new, cold air.

+ For Horsepower

An engine works by burning Fuel and pushes the pistons down by making expansion. Do you want to make more horsepower? Burn more fuel so the engine will push the pistons down more strongly. Sounds like very easy. However, this is not so easy. Since there are many factors that make increasing power a complex engineering problem, we will consider only three main principles here.
First of all, all fuels need oxygen to burn. If you want to burn more fuel, you will need to give more oxygen. Almost all engine performance products increase power by increasing fuel and oxygen flow.
Camshafts, larger carburettors or valves, porting, intake manifolds, exhaust headers, superchargers, turbochargers, and NOS are clear examples of how an improved engine breathes air (more oxygen to burn more fuel) and this gives you increased horsepower. The most effective way to increase the flow of oxygen and fuel is probably the Nitro oxide injection system. This is the main reason why the nitro system produces so much horsepower.

Another key power factor is the evaporation of fuel. As with other racing fuels, gasoline will not burn while in liquid form. In order for gasoline to burn, it must be converted into steam. Converting gasoline to steam is an easy process. This is basically no different than putting a glass of water outside and waiting for it to dry. Of course, evaporation is very fast inside the engine. The conversion of raw gas to steam at 8000 RPM is key to stimulating the evaporation process; engine heat and fuel atomization. The atomization process turns the raw fuel flow into very small droplets, and so evaporation is accelerated due to the enlarged evaporation surface. The size of the fuel droplets is very important. Take a big drop of gasoline and turn it into ten small droplets, in this case you have expanded the surface area for more effective evaporation. The result is more fuel to burn. A well-designed NOS system, together with nitro, creates very small droplet sizes in fuel flowing into the engine. For this reason, NOS systems create stronger horsepower than other systems.

DUMP VALVE / BLOW-OFF VALVE
What is Dump Valve, what does it do?

Dump Valve is a piece that is produced to increase the gas response by keeping the turbo pressure high in turbo-fed cars.

In cars with turbo feed, the turbo still rotates when the foot is pulled out of the gas, but the high pressure that occurs due to the fact that the air pressed by the turbo does not have a place to go, suddenly slows the propeller by applying a great force to the turbo propeller. When you press the gas again, it is necessary to accelerate the propeller again so that the turbo pressure can reach its peak, and during this time, a great loss of performance is experienced because the desired turbo pressure cannot be achieved. Dump Valve is there to prevent this loss of performance.

* It keeps the turbo pressure high by preventing the speed of the turbo propeller to slow down. High turbo pressure means high power.

* It provides surplus power as it exhausts the old heated air between degassing and exhausting and takes in the new, cold air.
