Hello friends. This door handle peels are known in French vehicles. I also had 407 vehicles. I found a solution by myself, I want to share. First of all, we are removing the door handles. Let me tell you how to disassemble it for 407. Remove the plastic part on the arm with the plastic removal tool and it has a claw. It also happens with a flat screwdriver, but you can damage the edges. Then we have two torx screws on the top and bottom, and after removing them, we grab the handle from the top and pull it out to us, because first the top will come out and you have to pull it a little stronger. After removing it, remove the chrome plastics and put the handles in hot water. The soft coating will soften and you will peel them with your fingernail. It takes some troublesome patience, not to stay on the lineage. After peeling, pass 2 layers with Transparent gloss spray varnish is ok. If he wants, he can also paint it black. Piano looks like black and I like it very much. I did the same within the keys.

mine was black door handles. I bought a chrome door handle set from the internet for 50 TL last year. I had no problems, chrome says, but the stainless steel we know seems to be bright anyway.

I think the outside door handle is your teacher :) Yes if it is black it is a reasonable solution.

I applied a similar method to my steel door handle and got good results Smile
