Friends talk about the distributor strap on page 24 of my vehicle's maintenance manual. The frequency of change says 120000km or 10 years under heavy use conditions. Chains are talked about. I think this distributor belt is the timing belt we know. Because there is no distibrator in our vehicles, automatic ignition. There is also no distributor in diesel vehicles, but the distributor talks about the belt change period. I think when translating to Turkish, it was called a dribrator belt instead of a mistake. Say what?

I can't be in the triger because I know it is 80,000 or 4 years but I think the new ones are 80,000 or 10 years.

If the timing belt is not healthy to change, it will be longer lasting and hassle-free as a set with its bearings as well as a circulation pump. Services say zero vehicles to 120,000 km, but this is according to European standards, normally if it changes between 80 and 90,000 km, it saves you from both the cost and peace of mind. In addition, if the km life is not completed, after 4 years, it must change absolutely, if there are cracks in the belt, it is close to rupture.

distiribotr apricot is the timing apricot as we change it because the tools are french so it writes in the guidebook as they translate from french. and change times are different for each vehicle, for example, 80 thousand km for 5 years in RC's, 100 thousand 5 years for some 5 years of diesel, 180 thousand 10 years, 120 thousand for five years.

a maintenance that is dependent on use but should not be neglected, when the god forbid is broken, you will take the lap of the engine :))) I changed it at 90 thousand km because it sounds light, it was about to complete its life. After 80 thousand km, you should change it just in case, otherwise it will cost you a lot.

A situation that should not be neglected like you say and varies according to your vehicle. you were on the road when it broke off, and then the savior speedometer, roller cover insertion, the valve changing as a team, a waste of time with the carpet and a lot of money ... not worth it ...
Also, think that it broke off in an unusual place ... thinking it is bad: (((
