On a free day,
Turn off everything in the car, open the hood. With the key in contact and driver's window open, get out of the vehicle and close the doors. Wait 3 minutes, remove the battery terminal. Wait another 1 min. Then put on the pole. Wait one more minute and turn on the headlights without opening the door.
